Hi folks!
Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween. It's one of my favorite holidays even though I'm always at a loss for
costumes - it's never been my forte, shall we say, to come up with a cool and ingenious costume. My husband, however,
year after year, continues to amaze me with his creativity and commitment. This year his get-up was epic!
Before I say anything else, I just want to advocate everyone getting out to vote on November 7th. Vote, vote, vote. We all
know how important this election is - make yourself heard, make your vote count! That's all the "soapboxing" you'll have
to endure ...
Things are good here, mellow and easy, as I'm moving along smoothly in the pregnancy, and happy to greet the holidays. This
is my favorite time of year and to be carrying a child during the holiday season only further increases the
feelings of joy and wonder. Pumpkin patches, turkey dinners, holiday lights and Christmas tunes - it's magical. Thanksgiving
is my favorite holiday to cook, and Wade and I make a point every year to invite friends over to partake of a
good old traditional spread. This year my roommate from college is even traveling to spend it with us.
The Hallmark Hall of Fame television movie I recently completed, "Candles on Bay Street," will air on Sunday,
Nov. 26th on CBS (Thanksgiving weekend). I haven't seen it, but I hear it's a moving, heart-felt hankie kind of show. You
all know how those Hallmark movies can really work your heart!
I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and if anything worth sharing comes up, I'll be in touch. Otherwise,
it's likely to be a quiet time as I'm going in, going deep into the preparation for this tiniest of roles called
Motherhood. I wish you all the best. Be safe, happy and healthy!
Best,
Annabeth
