A reminder that True Women is re-airing
Sunday, November 30
on Lifetime at 12:00 p.m. (Eastern). Double-check your local listings

for many of you, so don't miss the chance to catch it once again. :)
I've also updated "Annabeth's Current TV

will be airing throughout the month of December. There are some
excellent opportunities to catch her in a variety of her work.

"I should just take my own corset with me for movies."

The Thanksgiving Day

November 24, 2003 Annabeth
out n' about, and November Q&As ... :)
Annabeth was out over
the weekend at the Step Up Women's Network/Lexus Presents The Burberry Prorsum Fashion Show, Spring & Summer 2004
Collection, benefiting The USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. The event was on Saturday (Nov. 22) in Beverly Hills.

And, Annabeth has sent along her answers for the questions submitted for the month of November. Enjoy!. :)

Name: Sarah M.
Question: What has been the most rewarding part of your career so far?
Annabeth's Answer:
The most rewarding part of my career is the exposure I have to the variety of human experience there is in this
world. Whether it be a character and her life or a crew member and his life, the stories, the details I have
learned from living a creative life amongst people who collaborate to make movies and television shows is quite
amazing. For instance, to play the role of a young woman of the Texas plains in the 1800's, to ride horses and
shoot rifles and wear corsets was a living history lesson to be sure, but not of facts only. The range of
emotions in that historical context was enlightening and surely changed me by searching to find and play them ....
But just as much a part of that lesson was the time I spent off camera with the horse wranglers on the movie,
rehearsing my horsewoman skills, learning from their particular excellence and absorbing the story of their
lives - the path they took (or the path that took them) to provide horses to do the job for a
t.v. movie.
Or how about the physicists I met while working on X-Files, the art director who knew how to build sets that are so
realistic but are made from Styrofoam ... It’s amazing the gypsy lot of people who are called to this kind of work and
the amount of information each of their stories has to share. That's what I love the absolute most about working in
the movies.

Question: Would you consider doing a play in London’s West End, or Broadway? If so, what would be your ideal
play/character?
Annabeth's Answer:
I would love one day to play Chekov’s Hedda Gabler. Hedda is a kind of wretched heroine who is trapped and
suffocated in her own life - I find the play fascinating, dramatic and rich in its text.
So many great acting moments. The challenge of bringing her to life and finding her humanity and also the beast in her would be an opportunity for
an actress to find her own greatness. I believe it is one of the definitive female roles on stage for any actress.
I would love to come to London and do a play but I'd better make damn sure I'm ready for it, and damn sure I've got
the chops, shouldn't I ... your theater is the best of the best and doesn't suffer fools gladly. Maybe I'll be ready
in my next decade! But it will be my highest goal, alright?!

November 21, 2003 A
retro-promo pic and some upcoming misc. news ... :)
I came across this 1989
promotional/publicity photo of Annabeth from When He's Not A
Stranger. I hadn't seen it prior. :)
||
Our good friend Sabrina is going to be working on screen captures
from another of Annabeth's rare, made-for-television movies, Different.
I know many of you have not had the chance to see this one as it airs
very rarely. Here's hoping the screen caps will help give you a feel
for her role in the film. :)
My thanks, as always, to Sabrina for always seeming to make
captures of some of Annabeth's harder-to-find films. :)
|| Have a great day! :)

November 20, 2003 Air
date/summary of Annabeth's next WW ep ...
"Abu el Banat"
is scheduled to air December 3. Following is courtesy of
NBC.com:
-----
"Abu el Banat" (#509)
Bartlet is visited by three wise daughters at Christmas while
Christian workers are jailed in Sudan.
The festive Christmas spirit at the annual White House tree-lighting is dimmed when the President (Martin Sheen)
learns that Christian relief workers have been jailed in Islamic northern Sudan while he welcomes his three headstrong
daughters -- including the returning Zoey (Elisabeth Moss) -- and is surprised to learn that his son-in-law
(guest star Steven Eckholdt) wants to run for Congress in New Hampshire. Meanwhile, when the licenses of some doctors
in Oregon are suspended after they administer drugs in an assisted suicide, Toby (Richard Schiff) tries to keep the
administration from being bogged down in a debate -- and clashes with Will (Joshua Malina) when he tries to convince
the Vice President to address the political hot potato. John Spencer, Bradley Whitford, Allison Janney, Dule Hill,
Janel Moloney, Stockard Channing and Lily Tomlin also star. Annabeth Gish guest-stars.

November 13, 2003 A
new project on the horizon ...
This is a slightly
unusual update in that I might have stumbled across Annabeth's next
project before she has had the chance to tell me. (LOL!)
Nonetheless, while at IMDB
today, I noticed Annabeth's listing has been updated with a television
mini-series slated for 2004 called, The Detective. Her co-star
is to be Tom Berenger.
I don't have any
additional details as yet ... but that is likely to change. Stay
tuned. :)

Have a great day! :)

down with the flu for the past couple of days). Sincerest thanks again to
everyone who participated - the book turned out just great! Thank you
