Note from Annabeth: Premiere of an edited version of Knots on Lifetime ... :)

Annabeth has sent along word that Lifetime Television will be premiering an edited version of Knots - renamed Sex, Love and Lies - tonight at 9 p.m. (If you don't have time to catch it this evening, it will re-air February 12th and February 17th).

Also, Annabeth has advised that Lion's Gate will be releasing a DVD of the original director's cut of Knots in April, so those of you wanting to see the unedited version will indeed be able to do so.

Resuming Q&As, and some misc. info about Desperation ... :)

After placing Q&As on hold for a bit due to her very busy schedule, Annabeth has sent along her answers for the most recent batch of questions sent in for the month of January. Enjoy!

----------

Name: Michael M.
Question: Have you considered or do you have any interest in doing voice work for an animated film (like Finding Nemo or Shrek)? I think you have a great voice, and I would love to see/hear you as a character in an animated film.

Annabeth's Answer: My vocal chords - thank you for the compliment. I would love to do more voice-over work. I think it is an art in itself and there are masters who make/allow their voices to do amazing things. One of my first professional gigs back in Cedar Falls, Iowa was a radio commercial for Swiss Valley Farms Milk. I think I was 10. Does that count as the beginning of an as yet untapped vocal career? Of the animated films out last year I especially loved A Shark's Tale and The Incredibles. Both were so much fun to watch and listen to ... so yes, the answer is yes, I'd love to do an animated film.

-----

Name: Sue
Question: What kind of music do you listen to? (To relax? Calm down?) Any current recommendations?

Annabeth's Answer: Well, well, well. Music for me is an incredibly important source of emotional food. Some know by now that Sarah McLachlan is my favorite female vocalist. Patty Griffin, Mindy Smith, Emmylou Harris ... I love the ladies who make poetic and aching soulful music - kind of a folksy/country thing. If you wanted to know what CDs are loaded in my disc player right now I would tell you of these: The new Keane album which I cannot recommend enough - go get it! I swear it is an amazing collection of music! Jeff Buckley's Grace (which has its fixed place forever); Mindy Smith's One Moment More, U2's How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb ("Sometimes you can't make it on your own" is my favorite song!) Green Day's new CD and Mos Def's New Danger. I'm very eclectic. But when I want to relax I have my collection of CD's ... Robert Haig Coxon's Silent Path is my favorite CD to put on when I need to enter the land of music to soothe and dream. My husband laughs about my ambient music collection, but I do have a CD called The Most Relaxing CD EVER. What can I say ... Sometimes he even falls asleep to it, too! I think music has the power to heal and alter cell patterns and evoke feeling. It is medicine and always a way in to the heart ...

Misc. info on Desperation ... Lilja's Library is an incredibly comprehensive and well-organized fan site dedicated to the world of Stephen King. There is an exclusive Desperation page that tracks the production all the way back to December 2000, when talk of the book getting made into a film was just beginning. There are numerous articles and photos (including the one posted below with Annabeth). For those wanting to know all the details about the film, be sure to check out this great site!

(Thanks to folks at the The Official Halloween Message Board for the info).

The always talented Kristi (You Know I'm On Your SideTeso X) has launched a new site: Smoke & Satire. It is dedicated to X-Files characters John Doggett and Monica Reyes - without the suggestion of romance. It's a clever, originally designed site. Be sure to check it out! :)

From the very beginning, there are problems with setting up the office in an abandoned shack and personal differences about the campaign's goals are immediately evident. Meanwhile, as Donna (Janel Moloney) and Will (Joshua Malina) work together on Russell's (Gary Cole) campaign, Will makes it clear to Donna that in order for their partnership to work, she needs to acknowledge that Josh is gone.
Also starring Richard Schiff, Martin Sheen, Allison Janney.

Santos (Jimmy Smits) begins his presidential campaign in New Hampshire. It's very idealistic and issue-oriented--too much so for Josh, who has an awkward reunion with Russell aide Donna. Meanwhile, Bartlet's son-in-law Doug Westin (Steven Eckholdt) makes some political hay at Santos's expense.

Liz Bartlet Westin: Annabeth Gish. Joey Lucas: Marlee Matlin. Greg Brock: Sam Robards.

Be sure to set your VCRs!

Also, I'd like to place an open call for submissions of screen caps/clips for this episode. That is, if you have the ability to make screen caps and clips, and you would like to submit them for posting here at the site, feel free to send an e-mail to administrator@allthingsannabeth.com with the subject of the e-mail as "West Wing Caps and Clips." The caps/clips should be primarily focused on Annabeth's role, not the whole episode and/or the other cast members.

Submission of screen caps/clips will be on a first come, first serve basis, with full citation/credit given to those selected to be posted. That is, the first ones to come in will likely be the first ones posted (after initial review of quality). If you have your own Web site, it is recommended that you upload the caps/clips to your site, then send the link to administrator@allthingsannabeth.com so that they may be downloaded and prepared for posting here at this site. If you do not have your own Web site and would like to send caps/clips via e-mail, it is recommended that you WinZip the files and send them in increments (NOT as one large e-mail with large attachments; e-mail clients may reject the e-mail as spam, and/or not allow it to be sent/received due to a potentially large overall file size).

If you're interested and still have questions, feel free to send an e-mail to administrator@allthingsannabeth.com with the subject of the e-mail as "Question on West Wing Caps and Clips."
