A new article ... :) Annabeth
was interviewed by the Waterloo-Cedar
Falls Courier regarding her narration of the documentary, "America's Lost Landscapes: The Tallgrass
Prairie." I've transcribed the article here.
(Great thanks to Amanda for the heads-up!) ||
"I was so moved and impressed. Just the dedication people have given to the study of tallgrass prairies and the
passion and poetry in people's lives because of that dedication, it was really inspiring to me."
(Annabeth, on narrating "America's Lost Landscapes: The Tallgrass Prairie,"
Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier, April 2004)

Additional CSI: Miami
info ... :) Providing
there are no last minute changes to CBS' May sweeps schedule, the
"Not Landing" episode of CSI: Miami (in which Annabeth
guest-starred) will air Monday, May 3rd at 10:00 p.m. Episode details
are below (with thanks to alfornos at the Haven
Message Board):
-----C.S.I.: Miami
"Not Landing"
10:00 p.m. Eastern & Pacific / 9:00 p.m. Central
The CSIs investigate the lives of those living in a high-end airpark after a prop plane crashes into a Miami beach,
on CSI: Miami, Monday, May 3 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Joe Chappelle directed the episode written by Shane Brennan and Marc Dube from a story by Jonathan Glassner.
After the plane crashes and the pilot dies, Horatio finds remnants at the crash site of chemical used in making
cocaine, and it seems that the victim's business partner may have sabotaged the aircraft. However, when evidence
suggests that the pilot may have died before the crash, the team investigates the victim's neighbors - all wealthy
residents of a secluded cul-de-sac where lust, jealousy and greed are dangerous motives for murder.
----- As a heads-up, I am scheduled to be out of town the week
Annabeth's CSI: Miami episode airs, so there will be a slight
delay in posting screen caps/clips here at the site. :)

Everyone have a great day! :)

Just a note ... :) With
great thanks to AN75 and Grilka, I will be able to post a couple of screen
caps and a clip of Annabeth's participation in an infomercial for the Winsor
Pilates home fitness program. Stay tuned ... :) (And be sure to
check out the official Winsor
Pilates Web site if you're interested in learning more about the
program on the whole.)

"My parts have always been about who the person is rather than what she looks like. I don't think women should succumb
to the ideal of having a perfect body - it makes you crazy." (Annabeth, Fitness Magazine, March 2002)

Have a great day! :)

Off-topic: David Duchovny talks of
a second X-Files film ... I
receive many inquiries regarding the status of a second
X-Files feature
film (mostly by those hoping to see more of Annabeth's character, Special Agent Monica
Reyes). Therefore, I thought
I'd post the below article by The Associated Press (which some of you might have already seen in
various other X-Files related forums and fandoms).
Former X-Files star David Duchovny has made a series of
recent comments regarding the possibility and/or potential for a second film.
There is NO mention of Annabeth
(nor the character of Monica Reyes) in any of his comments,
but the article might be of interest to those of you who are long-time X-Files fans and are hoping for a second
film. (*NOTE:
For those interested, you may want to read the below article with
cautious optimism. Talking about a film and actually getting it made
are two different things. However, it is worth noting this is the
first semi-official report/discussion of a second feature film that I
have come across since the show ended in 2002.)

Duchovny Expects Second X-Files Movie
By The Associated Press
LOS ANGELES (April 8, 2004) - David Duchovny expects that Mulder and Scully will ride again one day. Duchovny said a second
big-screen installment of The X-Files remains in the works. Though he doesn't know the plot, Duchovny said
X-Files creator Chris Carter has signed off on the story premise.
"I'm dying to hear it," the 43-year-old actor told The Associated Press in an interview for his new movie
Connie and Carla, starring Nia Vardalos and Toni Collette, which opens April 16. "So now it's just a matter of making
sure everybody can get together at the same time and do it."
Duchovny starred as alien-hunting FBI agent Mulder for seven full seasons of
The X-Files, worked part-time for an
eighth season and returned for the series finale at the end of season nine.
He and co-star Gillian Anderson, who played Mulder's skeptical partner, Scully, also starred in the 1998 movie version of
The X-Files.
"I'm at the point where I finally miss it," Duchovny said. "I wanted the grind to end, but I never wanted the show
just to end. And I'd always had this fantasy and hope that it would be a movie franchise. Hopefully, this second movie
will give it a foundation as such."

Have a great day! :)
