April 30, 2003 -- REVISED Just a bit of this n' that today ... :) In my continuing efforts to get additional exposure for ATA, I've listed it with starpages.net. If you like ATA (as I know many of you do, and I thank you so, so much for your support ... :) ... ), and if it's not too much trouble, might you take a moment to vote for ATA here (to help me better track visitors and such). April 28, 2003 A big, big thank you to all of you who participated in the TYA Auction! The final tally on monies raised is still being finalized, but at first glance it appears we raised over $1100 (US) for the Children's Hospital of New Mexico! :) Thanks to everyone for your generosity and support! :) || "I should just take my own corset with me for movies." April 23, 2003 A small mention of Annabeth in InStyle, and the TYA Auction continues ... The pic below is from a small mention of Annabeth in the May 2003 issue of InStyle Magazine. It is from the UpClose section (p. 312), which asks the question: "What's your treasure? One kid's junk is another one's gem. Stars reveal the personal possessions they cherished as children." This is a very cute shot of Annabeth as a youngster. :) And, ironically again, Annabeth's good friend Rebecca Romijn-Stamos also pops up in the same section. Her answer: a dollhouse that her dad built for her, which she still has. :) || "On my 8th birthday I got the Little Professor math calculator .... It really got me into math! It had a strap that you could put around your wrist like a purse, which I loved. I even took it to show-and-tell." April 17, 2003 -- SECOND UPDATE It's official: the TYA auction has begun! The Thank You, Annabeth charity auction to benefit the Children's Hospital of New Mexico officially begins today. Items up for grabs include, among others, signed copies (by Annabeth) of the Special Edition of The Hollywood Reporter, which commemorated the end of The X-Files; the Special Edition TV Guide, which also commemorated  the end of The X-Files and featured Annabeth and Robert Patrick on the cover; scripts from X-Files episodes "Audrey Pauley," "Trust No 1," "4D," and "Sunshine Days"; official promotional picture of Annabeth as Special Agent Monica Reyes. For additional details on the auction, as well as to see a full list of items available and place your bids, you'll want to head on over to Thank You, Annabeth/Auction. (**Note: Auction will end in 10 days. eBay is hosting this auction. If you do not have an account with eBay, you will need to create one before you can bid on any of the items.) Proceeds generated by this auction will be donated in Annabeth's name to her preferred charity, The Children's Hospital of New Mexico. April 15, 2003 A new article and pic ... :) I've transcribed an article from Parade Magazine that appeared in August 1999, which you can read here. The pic that accompanied the article is below. (Ironically, this past weekend Annabeth's good friend, Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, was on the cover/featured in the same column.) :) || "My parents left the decision to me - Hollywood or college. April 14, 2003 Some additional screen caps ... :) Grilka has gone back and re-done some screen caps from Coupe de Ville that highlight when Annabeth first appears in the film. April 10, 2003 Some new screen caps, and some BFB news ... :) The awesome Grilka has done screen caps for Nixon, which you can see here. Thank you so much, Grilka! April 9, 2003 ATA Stores are complete ... :) I've completed the amazon.co.uk and amazon.de stores for the Online Store. April 8, 2003 A new pic, some TYA news, some store news, and some minor site maintenance ... :) Grilka has sent in a promo pic from Shag (see below). I hadn't seen this one prior ... thanks so much, Grilka! :) || "[A]fter I filmed Shag, I went to school at Duke in North Carolina and the Shag was still being danced there." (Annabeth, TV Guide Online Chat, May 20, 2001) || News regarding the Thank You, Annabeth (TYA) auction is to be forthcoming this week. So, everyone check your bank accounts and be sure to stash away a small budget to be able to bid on some excellent merchandise signed by Annabeth. :) Proceeds will be donated to the Children's Hospital of New Mexico. :) || Donna (Life With My Girl, Reyes) has created another BFB affiliate store, which you can see here. She has done some excellent write-ups on Annabeth's charities. Great job, Donna! Becky at Buy For Bethie has some additional updates as well, so be sure to check them out. || And finally, I removed the "Home" button from the navigation bar. With the addition of the "Online Store" button, the bar seemed crowded to me. April 4, 2003 The ATA Store is up ... :) I burned a little midnight oil to get the first part of the ATA Store up and running. You should see a new selection over to the left, on the navigation bar for "Online Store" (if not, you may need to refresh your browser in order to see it). Currently, you can make amazon.com purchases. I am going to add amazon.co.uk and amazon.de shortly. Many, many thanks again to Becky for the opportunity to be an affiliate, and for having such a great idea in the first place! :) || || Everyone have a great Friday and a nice weekend! :)

April 3, 2003 The BFB Store is coming right along ... :) Becky has completed the amazon.com and amazon.co.uk stores over at Buy for Bethie. And, our good friend Sabrina will be on the BFB staff heading up the amazon.de store (German). Also, Becky has kindly allowed ATA to become an affiliate of the BFB Store, so I am working on creating a store for this site as well. The hope is to generate additional dollars that can be donated to one of Annabeth's charities from the referral fees that result from any purchases made through ATA or BFB (as it's all going to the same account). April 1, 2003 -- SECOND UPDATE News today from Daily Variety of a new project for Annabeth... :) ------ 'Knots' ties up thesp package Ensemble pic follows lives of New Yorkers by Jill Feilwell Tara Reid, John Stamos, Scott Cohen, Annabeth Gish, Paulina Porizkova and Michael Leydon Campbell are set to star in the low-budget romantic comedy Knots. Ensemble pic, lensing in Gotham, follows the interwining lives of six twenty - and thirtysomething New Yorkers. Greg Lombardo (Macbeth in Manhattan) co-wrote the script with Neil Turitz (Two Ninas) and will helm. Lombardo and Turitz also will produce, along with Dan Abrams, who produced the docu[mentary] On the Inside. (Date in print: Tue., Apr. 1, 2003, Los Angeles) || In case some of you aren't familiar with Variety's slang, "lensing in Gotham" means the film will be shot in New York City. :) Great news as I know many of you have been anxiously awaiting Annabeth's next project. Good to see her reunited with John Stamos - as they were great together in Sealed With A Kiss. :)

April 1, 2003 No April Fool's here ... just a wonderful Annabeth-centric collage, and some DVD pre-order info ... :) Stef has kindly allowed me to post one of her recent collages of Annabeth as Special Agent Monica Reyes (see below). Great work, Stef! Thanks so much for allowing me to post it! :) || "I had to do a lot of stunts and thrilling things [on the show] that you don't even have time to decide whether or not you have the courage to do them. You just have to because your character would." (Annabeth, The X-Files Official Magazine, 2002 Yearbook) || And, Sabrina has advised that the Season 8 DVD set of The X-Files is now available for pre-order at amazon.com. If you are considering pre-ordering the set, or purchasing any other Annabeth-related DVDs/videos, you might want to consider pre-ordering through Becky's Buy for Bethie Store. Parts of the store are still under construction, but check out the site for for details - as the proceeds that will be generated by sales through the store will be donated to one of Annabeth's charities (once a year; on her birthday). Becky has been working hard at establishing stores for all countries that currently have amazon.com. She's also looking for volunteers to help manage some of the stores.
