Constantly delivering poignant and critically applauded performances, Annabeth Gish has been praised for her classic and contemporary roles in films and on television. Whether it be her troubled yet captivating role on the new Showtime series, "Brotherhood," her addition to the casts of the highly successful dramas "The X-Files" and "The West Wing", or any one of her feature films, which include Mystic Pizza, Wyatt Earp, Nixon, Beautiful Girls and Double Jeopardy, Annabeth's resume is as extensive as it is versatile.

Annabeth currently stars as the troubled Eileen Caffee in the new Showtime Network drama, "Brotherhood." The drama is about two ambitious brothers - one a politician, the other a gangster. As the wife of politician Tommy Caffee (Jason Clarke), Annabeth's character fights to stay loyal to her husband whilst hiding her own bouts with infidelity and drug addiction. The role has proven to be the richest, darkest and most challenging of Annabeth's career. Shot on location in Providence, Rhode Island, the show will air its second season in late 2007.

Annabeth also recently starred in the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie, "Candles on Bay Street," which also featured Alicia Silverstone and Eion Bailey. Her other recent work includes "Stephen King's Desperation," the ABC television movie based on the Stephen King book of the same name, co-starring Tom Skerritt, Ron Perlman and Steven Weber; The Celestine Prophecy, based on the best-selling book by James Redfield; and, two independent film projects, Mojave Phone Booth and Gillery's Little Secret.

Annabeth's other most notable recent work includes starring opposite Gillian Anderson and Robert Patrick during last two seasons of "The X-Files" as Special Agent Monica Reyes; and, her role on the White House drama, "The West Wing," playing Elizabeth Bartlet Westin, President Jed Bartlet's (Martin Sheen) oldest daughter.

Her additional feature film credits include: Double Jeopardy opposite Tommy Lee Jones and Ashley Judd; the Sundance Film festival favorite SLC Punk!; Wyatt Earp opposite Kevin Costner; Nixon directed by Oliver Stone; Beautiful Girls; The Last Supper; Coupe De Ville; Shag; Steel; Race to Space; Pursuit of Happiness; Buying the Cow; and Morning.

Annabeth's numerous television credits include: "Life on Liberty Street," a film for the Hallmark Channel co-starring Ed Begley, Jr. and Ethan Embry; "The Detective," co-starring Tom Berenger; voice narration of the PBS documentary "America's Lost Landscape: The Tallgrass Prairie"; the VH-1 Original Movie, "The Way She Moves"; the PBS Masterpiece Theater classic "A Death In The Family" opposite James Cromwell; the television films "Sealed With A Kiss," co-starring John Stamos, "Different" opposite Lynn Redgrave, "God's New Plan," "To Live Again," "What Love Sees" and "Someone You Know," as well as the mini-series "Scarlett" and "True Women," opposite Dana Delaney and Angelina Jolie.

Annabeth, a native of New Mexico, first gained the attention of critics and moviegoers at the age of 13 when, according to film critic Roger Ebert, she delivered a performance "of stunning power" in the feature film Desert Bloom. She went on to star in the acclaimed feature film Mystic Pizza with Julia Roberts before taking a four year break from her career to attend Duke University and graduate cum laude with a degree in English.

She currently lives in Beverly Hills with husband Wade Allen and son Cash.
