Hollywood on the Rise: Ask Annabeth

From her cinematic debut (at 13) in Desert Bloom, playing the daughter of John Voigt, to her most recent portrayal of a college student involved in a macabre murder mystery in The Last Supper, Annabeth Gish has delighted audiences worldwide with her performances.

When asked what she looks for in a characters, she swiftly responded: "I think, as a general rule, most female actors always long for a little more complexity. That's something I always look for in the scripts I read."

With back-to-back shooting for an HBO Movie with Eric Stoltz called The Gulf (*) and a CBS Movie titled What Love Sees, with Richard Thomas, it seems as though all Annabeth does is work.

Her response?

"Yes, but quality is paramount, isn't it?"

(*Note: The Gulf ended up being titled Don't Look Back)
